Accounting Executive in the Office Management and Payroll Team of Finance and Enterprises Office (Ref.: 532989) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal)
The Role
The appointee will work in the Office Management and Payroll Team. He/ She will assist the manager(s) in the following areas:
- smooth operation of payroll and staff benefits;
- employer’s remuneration returns;
- processing of superannuation and MPF contribution;
- preparation of annual accounts; and
- any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
- 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language;
- at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, particularly in payroll, employer’s remuneration returns, MPF contribution / administration, retirement benefits schemes and budgeting will be advantageous;
- a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- good communication skills;
- self-motivation and attention to details;
- integrity in working with confidential information is a must;
- familiarity with relevant ordinances is a plus;
- proficiency in MS Office software; and
- experience in using PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials is an advantage.
