Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our school. As an Accounting Officer, you will
be responsible for handling overall accounts receivable and payable, bookkeeping and arranging
payments and reports preparation.
Key Responsibilities

Handle overall accounts receivable & payable cycle

Handle day to day finance and accounts operations including school fee collection, e-payments
through internet banking, cheque issuance, petty cash management and expenses
reimbursement

Issue invoices and receipts and perform monthly reconciliation with ledger accounts and bank
statements

Handle bookkeeping and assist in month-end closing process and other regular reports
preparation
- Support regular inventory management of textbooks, uniforms and equipment

Support annual audit

Data entry and filing of documents

Other duties and ad hoc assignments as required
Required Qualifications
- University degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines

Minimum 3 year of experience in accounting position, preferably in School or education field
Student member of HKICPA, or associate member of other professional accounting bodies is
preferable (ACCA, CPA, CA, AICPA)

High proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal communication), fluency in
Cantonese and Mandarin

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mature, well organized, able to work under pressure and independently

Experience working in an international school or in a new set-up school is highly preferred

Handle confidential information in a professional manner

Responsible, detail-minded, diligent, and flexible when working on multiple tasks

Excellent computer skills, including Google Drive, database management, and English & Chinese typing
- Experience in using QuickBooks system will be an advantage
- Immediate availability will be an advantage
