The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic finance team and play a key role in ensuring smooth accounts payable operations. As an Accounts Analyst, you'll be responsible for processing vendor payments and staff reimbursements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with payment-related queries. The Accounts Analyst will ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and staff expense reimbursements, respond to payment status queries from staff and vendors and verify compliance with company policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily Operation of AP Function:
Review invoices and check payment requests with proper approvals, ensuring compliance with the Firm's policy
Input data for payments/receipts into the accounting system (EXPERT)
Prepare and process accounts payable cheques, wire transfers and online weekly FPS batch payments
Prepare new vendor creation forms to ensure vendor information is correctly input in EXPERT
Contact new vendor to verify bank details before arranging payments
Prepare journal adjustments to correct payments posted to incorrect accounting codes or group codes
Facilitate and resolve general inquiries from staff and external vendors regarding office payments and expense reimbursements
Provide cover for other team members when required
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Monthly Reporting:
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor monthly statements.
Others:
Maintain proper filing of payment documents
Assist with inquiries from staff regarding the staff expense reimbursement tool – Chrome River
Perform ad hoc duties as required
To be successful in this role, you should have:-
Qualification in accountancy with a minimum of 2 years or above relevant working experience (preferably gained in an international organization). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
Good written and spoken English, Cantonese, Mandarin
Knowledge of Microsoft office, e.g. Excel and Word
Knowledge of accounting software: Expert
