The Department of Economics is seeking a high-caliber candidate to support its MSc in Economics program. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in coordinating the admission exercise, including application tracking, communication with applicants, and logistical support.
- Organize enrichment events to enhance student engagement; drive student development opportunities and ensure good student learning experience.
- Design and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy to strengthen alumni relations and establish a robust alumni community.
- Manage and contribute to high-quality marketing initiatives to promote the program.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in event planning and/or the education sector. He/she should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills. An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese is required. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be necessary. Occasional overseas travel is also required. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
