Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and prepare reports on trading and banking book positions, highlighting significant outright and embedded risks.
- Oversee intra-day, daily, and monthly position reports while monitoring exceptions and ensuring compliance with trading and non-trade limits.
- Provide early warnings to business units about potential limit breaches and report these to management.
- Participate in system development projects focused on market risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk for the bank's products and services.
- Review new products and offer insights on effective quantification techniques related to interest rate and liquidity risk.
- Contribute to internal projects aimed at enhancing ALM reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Assist in the implementation of market risk management systems, including performing user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborating closely with the IT department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as ECF-CRM, CFA, FPM, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in market risk reporting and monitoring, with a focus on treasury and market risk systems.
- Strong knowledge of treasury products and relevant systems, including Kondor+ and Bloomberg.
- Proficient in PC applications, with knowledge of VBA being an advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
