Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist the R&D Manager in leading the engineering team to develop new technologies, generate ideas and create or enhance solutions

• Oversee and track R&D projects from development to manufacturing, ensuring adherence to project schedules and maintaining competitive costs during development and production

• Responsible for handling product costing, quotation and cost analysis work from concept development stage to finished goods

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive R&D initiatives

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Manager

• Achieve saving targets relative to management established benchmarks

• Engage in sourcing, evaluating and qualifying of new suppliers and materials

• Evaluate material suitability and product design to meet engineering and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related disciplines

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in manufacturing industry preferably in power cords/electronics products

• Familiarity with R&D processes and project management will be an advantage

• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Good command of English and Chinese
