Role Introduction
Reports to: Digital Manager
The role is part of our Digital Department (DGT), which is committed to becoming one of the world’s greatest service brands by transforming into a digital leader famous for our strong digital culture and capabilities.
As the Digital Analyst, you will support the Digital Manager in driving enterprise-wide adoption of Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies both strategically and operationally, enabling Cathay to build a robust technological foundation for harnessing and scaling the latest AI capabilities across business units.
You will also champion the adoption of RAG, Agentic AI, and other automation technologies to create an active community through evangelism and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Digital Product Owner to define the long-term vision and roadmap of the enterprise RAG and Agentic AI framework
- Outline the new feature requirements and translate them into technical stories. Collaborate with BU, IT and stakeholders to collect their feedback to improve the standard framework offerings
- Drive RAG and Agentic AI use cases across Cathay to create tangible business values and impact for Cathay
- Establish the best practices, process and tools for requirement assessment, business benefits tracking and performance monitoring
- Drive adoption of RPA in different internal departments by organizing workshops, community meetings, reinforcing best practices etc
- Participate and collaborate with the Scrum/Agile team to deliver digital initiatives and features releases
- Promote RAG, Agentic AI, and other automation technologies through workshops, training, and other advocacy activities
- Research and analyze market trend and internal needs, and initiate new technologies PoC
- Stakeholder management on prioritization, initiative status updates and reporting
- Support other digital initiatives and ad-hoc tasks assigned by Digital Manager and Head of Digital
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Information
Management, Operations Research or related disciplines - Minimum 3 years of working experience relating to data & analytics with a good understanding of at least one of the following business areas: Operations, Customer management, Service Delivery, Sales & Marketing or Finance management
- Certified Automation tool users, e.g. UiPath, is an advantage
- Familiar with agile framework and lean methodologies is a plus
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools, ideally QlikView, PowerBI is a plus
- Some knowledge in scripting languages e.g. Python, SQL, SAS is a plus
- Working knowledge in managing vendors and suppliers and project management a plus
- Strong analytical abilities, and critical thinking skills
- Curious, meticulous, self-motivated and strong continuous improvement mindset
- Resourceful, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Team player with strong communication & interpersonal skills, able to share effectively across different business streams
