Mulberry House International Kindergarten is a Bilingual International Kindergarten with two campuses located in Tai Po and Southside. Our curriculum is inquiry-based, blended with the Reggio Emilia approach, underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children under 6 years old. We also offer an array of Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) such as Music and Movement, Arts, Sports, Literacy, Forest School and STEM Programme.

Mulberry House International Kindergarten is looking for multiple enthusiastic, experienced and qualified part-time Playgroup Teachers to deliver our playgroup classes.
Responsibilities:
1. The candidate can plan, prepare and teach children from 6-36 months via a play-based approach.
2. Possesses the ability to utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to stimulate young children’s learning.
3. Contributes to course development through reflective practices of lesson planning, content, and materials. Curriculum leader or design experience is a plus.
4. Logical and organised, this candidate should be able to observe each individual child’s learning progress and provide appropriate guidance to parents/caregivers.
5. Build an excellent rapport with families and the children.
6. Demonstrates flexibility, teaching classes of different age groups as designated by school management.
7. Acts as an ambassador of the school, maintaining a well-prepared environment, punctuality, and professionalism.
8. This role may sometimes require the candidate to work at different sites. Sufficient notice shall be given under these circumstances.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Demonstrate a genuine interest in early year’s education and working with children.
2. Native English speaker, with an excellent level of spoken and written English.
3. A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in education / training or related disciplines is preferred.
4. Playgroup or drama teaching experience preferred.
5. Fresh graduates are eligible to apply, with formal teacher training provided.
6. Good interpersonal skills: creative, patient, caring, and enthusiastic about children and teaching.
7. Good work ethic and a team player, with a willingness to take initiative and continue to learn and develop.
8. All the prospective employees will be required to undergo the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) and to provide the documents.
9. Visa sponsorship available subject to candidate meeting the requirements.
Working schedule:
Full Time - Tuesday to Saturday 8:30-5:00
Part-Time - (negotiable) Weekday 1:00-5:00 and/or Saturday Full Day 8:30-5:00 preferred.
