Our client is a leading food and beverage manufacturing company with a strong global presence.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure regulatory compliance of the company’s products, ingredients, labeling, packaging, and product claims, which is critical to maintaining the company’s reputation with customers and regulatory authorities across ASEAN and North American markets (excluding Hong Kong and Mainland China).
- Serve as a liaison between regulatory bodies and the company on all matters related to regulatory affairs.
- Collaborate closely with relevant internal departments to ensure continuous product supply and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and stay updated on regulatory requirements and emerging trends across all relevant markets; provide insights on regulatory changes, assess impacts, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Proactively identify potential regulatory issues and take corrective measures to minimize risks and impacts.
- Provide scientific and nutritional expertise to support new product development, consumer education, and scientific communication initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food and beverage industry in ASEAN markets, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Established network with regulatory authorities and scientific professionals in ASEAN markets is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels and across markets.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, highly organized, and skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel and work outside Hong Kong as needed.
