Established in 1904, the Kowloon Cricket Club (KCC) is a private members’ club and is one of the leading sporting clubs in Hong Kong. We, promote participation in cricket and a wide variety of other sports, as well as encouraging social activities. We have a green environment in the heart of Kowloon. KCC’s facilities are also open to outside bodies such as schools and voluntary organizations, and we have a particular emphasis on training and nurturing the youth in many different sports.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to oversee the club’s housekeeping and carpark operations of providing a safe and clean environment for the members.
Responsibilities
Address member feedback promptly and implement corrective actions as needed
Conduct regular inspections of club facilities (e.g., locker rooms, sports areas, public spaces) to maintain cleanliness
Develop, implement, and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures
Liaise with external service providers (e.g. pest control) to ensure compliance with job standards
Manage contract renewal of external service providers
Manage inventory levels and controlling costs effectively
Monitor the set up and equipment arrangement for club events
Monitor the purchase and inventory control of the department
Source and evaluate new supplies
Supervise daily housekeeping and carpark operations to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of relevant supervisory experience, ideally in hotels or private clubs
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead, build teams, and mentor staff
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform tasks independently
