The appointee will be responsible for the efficient and professional administration of the MSc Programs in Department of Mathematics, including but not limited to the following major areas:

Student recruitment for MAED program: Manage program admission and marketing initiatives, update the program website, answer inquiries, prepare applicant summaries, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with the admissions committee to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.

Academic management for MAED program: Assist the Program Directors in managing curriculum development, course offerings, class scheduling, and classroom arrangements; provide administrative support to teaching faculty to ensure a smooth teaching experience; manage day-to-day program operations and administration, and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Student/alumni management for MAED program: Provide academic advising, organize student and alumni activities, and oversee the program’s scholarship selection process.
- Administrative support for MSc programs (MATH Dept): Handle and consolidate financial and personnel-related documents, carry out record-keeping and budgeting, coordinate with internal units on admission-related matters, and manage reimbursement and logistical support.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a recognized bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in program administration and/or in the academia. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Manager.
The ideal candidate should have problem-solving mindset and be able to work both independently and in a team that shows attention to detail, and manages multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The appointee should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as co-ordination skills. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required. Working outside normal office hours, including weekends, is occasionally required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
