Manager (Banking Conduct)
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of financial consumer protection framework, policies and measures
- Research, monitor and analyse international regulatory and industry developments in relation to financial consumer protection
- Support the promotion of public education in various aspects of financial consumer protection
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks where necessary
Requirements
- University degree in finance, banking, law or related fields
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in retail banking business an advantage
- Good knowledge on banking business
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory requirements in relation to financial consumer protection
- Qualifications from relevant professional bodies in the fields of banking, auditing and / or accounting an advantage
- Proactive and versatile, and able to work independently and under pressure
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and attention to details
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
