Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the frontline field support teams and the System Operation Control Centre (SOCC) to ensure 24/7 IT operational excellence.
- Coordinate and communicate proactively with the Integrated Airport Control Centre (IAC) and operational teams across various departments to support timely issue resolutions and operational alignment, contributing to the continuity of airport services.
- Serve as the incident manager during major IT incidents, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with various teams to swiftly address issues, minimizing downtime, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Lead airport operation drills and regular exercises, driving continuous improvements through knowledge sharing and post-drill reviews.
- Oversee continuous monitoring and management of IT systems critical to maintaining the uptime and performance of essential services.
- Utilize monitoring tools for real-time oversight of mission-critical systems, networks and infrastructure. Ensure timely updates to dashboards, logs for anomaly detection and identify key operational metrics to support data readiness for management reporting.
- Streamline operational workflow to support long term strategic initiatives and adopt emergency technologies to enhance IT operation effectiveness, efficiency and system resilience
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and strategic initiatives to improve system reliability, performance, and service availability. Supervise execution of robust backup and recovery plans to ensure readiness and resilience during emergencies or crisis situations.
- Manage maintenance contracts and cultivate strategic partnerships with contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Holder of Computer Science/Engineering/relevant disciplineBachelor's Degree Holder of Computer Science/Engineering/relevant discipline
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT Operations Management, including a significant portion in leadership roles
Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 or above is preferred
Extensive knowledge and experience in IT Operations Management, which includes IT Control Centre operation, IT Facilities Management, IT Services design
Proven track record in managing IT Control Centre operations and IT Facilities Management, particularly in mission-critical environments
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems operations, and network management
Extensive experience in managing operation centre in large-scale, complex organizations, preferably within the aviation industry
Holder of Hong Kong driving license is preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills
Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua preferred
