Manager, Ticketing

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Ticketing, you will be responsible for:

• developing and implementing the operational strategy and Standard Operation Procedures (“SOPs”) for the WestK ticketing team to enhance operation efficiency;

• overseeing day to day management of the ticket office including leading the ticketing team to manage ticket sales, team roster and training plans;

• collaborating with venue operation teams in performing arts venue and museums to ensure seamless ticketing journey and exceptional visitor experience;

• maintaining a high standard of customer service level through quality control measures;

• managing the daily operation and communication with the online travel agents partners to ensure the smooth ticket sales and customer service;

• overseeing the delivery and setup of ticketing counters / pop up counters including terminals, printers or bar code scanners hardware with IT and vendors;

• staying update on new developments new trends in the ticketing industry to improve the overall ticketing experience in WestK; and

• performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, E-Commerce or related disciplines;

• possess high integrity and be reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility;

• have at least 8 years of relevant experience in customer service, preferably with a background in implementing and operating ticketing systems, admission control, and venue management;

• have experience in managing the ticketing operation and admission in venue or within a major event or festival;

• have proven ability in managing staff and interact with the public in a customer service focused role; and

• be proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua.
