Job Description
Support in preparing, drafting and reviewing simple contracts and legal documents
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on legal and business matters
Implement procedures for contract retention and management
Update contract templates and database as necessary
Conduct litigation, company, business registration and/or winding up search
Conduct research on legal issues with focus on technology, online retail, data privacy and regulatory compliance issues
Provide general legal and administrative support, such as arranging meetings, liaising with relevant parties, translation, arranging execution of legal documents and document filing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a diploma in Legal Studies, or an equivalent legal qualification from a university in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction. Candidate with Bachelor’s degree in Law will also be considered
At least 1 year of in-house experience gained or legal experience from a reputable law firm or legal sector
Experienced in contract writing and drafting skills.
Extensive experience legal database software
Excellent communications skills (both spoken and written) in English and Chinese.
Excellent judgment and demonstrated discretion handling confidential information
Great interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Self-motivated, highly driven, team player, and a quick learner
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
