About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our players, guests, and members. This role is essential in creating a positive experience by managing front desk operations, assisting with inquiries, and supporting facility or retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet & Assist Visitors: Welcome players, guests, and customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Check-In & Scheduling: Manage court reservations, membership check-ins, and class registrations.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, and in-person inquiries about pickleball programs, events, lessons, and facility rentals.
- Retail Support: Assist with shop sales, merchandise inquiries, and equipment rentals.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle payments, waivers, and customer records, and maintain a tidy front desk area.
- Event Support: Help coordinate player check-ins for tournaments, and events.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when needed.
- Promote Memberships & Programs: Inform visitors about upcoming events, deals, and membership benefits.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in reception, customer service, or hospitality (sports/fitness industry a plus!).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of pickleball (or willingness to learn!) is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.
