Job Description :
Assist in sourcing qualified suppliers and obtaining quotations; maintain good relationships with suppliers and stay updated on market pricing trends.
Support the preparation of price comparison reports and quotation updates; identify and recommend new suppliers and products as needed.
Process purchase requests and consolidate orders from user departments, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up on amendments or cancellations.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure product quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records in the inventory system, including item descriptions, pricing, and vendor details.
Ensure compliance with established purchasing SOPs and internal control measures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or above in related disciplines
Minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant experience with procurement knowledge of food, beverage, and wine (experience in hotel or private club an advantage); Fresh graduate or candidate with less experience may be considered for the role of Purchasing Clerk
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory systems such as Materials Control is preferred
Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
Detail-oriented, proactive with strong organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
