The Division of Public Policy (PPOL) engages in public policy research that is interdisciplinary in nature. PPOL draws upon the multifaceted expertise of the scholars at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to foster a world-class research unit in public policy, using the latest data analytic techniques and scientific findings to develop science-based evidence-driven policy solutions.
We are currently looking for a full-time Research Assistant. The appointee will join a research project led by Prof Jingwei Alex He.
Applicants should have a master’s degree in one of the following areas: 1) public policy and administration; 2) political science; 3) computational social sciences. Strong skills in quantitative analysis, Python, and R. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
