Role Responsibilities:
Edit research documents to check and enhance clarity, coherence, and overall quality. Ensure the content is accurate, well-structured, and follows the specified style and language.
Format reports and presentations for publication, ensuring they meet the required standards, adhere to client branding, and follow client formats, look, and styles.
Collaborate with research analysts, supervisory analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure all research output is consistent with the client's branding guidelines.
Check all research output for errors in disclaimers and disclosures and escalate them onshore for resolution.
Conduct thorough testing of business processes and applications ahead of global rollouts to ensure smooth implementation and functionality. This includes working with IT and other departments to ensure that all systems are ready for use.
This role is crucial for facilitating the publication of research and ensuring timely market delivery.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
1-15 years of proven experience in editorial services, preferably within a research or academic setting.
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in investment research, is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
Proficiency in formatting and editing documents.
Ability to identify and escalate errors effectively.
Experience in business process and applications testing.
Familiarity with maintaining client branding and adhering to specified editing styles.
Familiarity with popular publishing software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams at the client location.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
