Research Positions in the Faculty of Business Administration

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) is one of the largest faculties in the University and a well-established full-service business faculty with AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations. It is a distinctive flagship business school in the region, playing a vital role in business and management education with key responsibilities in nurturing the leadership talents for the development of Macao and beyond as its mission states. It bridges academic education with real-world practice and actively engages with industry and professional bodies, strives to be a world-class business faculty, aiming to create a significant impact on the business community and society, thus contributing to the economic and sustainable development of Macao and beyond. FBA is currently seeking research personnel in different areas of business and management, ranging from Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Marketing, General Management, to specialised Integrated Resort and Tourism Management.

Initial appointment is up to 12 months with a possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and mutual agreement. The selected candidate is expected to assume duty as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Visiting Fellow:

A doctoral degree in relevant areas, along with a strong research publication record and notable achievements.

• Research Assistant Professor (RAP):

A doctoral degree in relevant areas, with a proven track record of research publications and achievements. Post-doctoral research experience is highly desirable.

• Post-doctoral Fellow:

A doctoral degree in relevant areas, with a substantial record of publications and relevant research experience.

• Research Assistant:

A bachelor’s degree or above in relevant areas, with relevant research and/or project experience.

Remuneration

Remuneration and appointment rank offered will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
