In April 2023, Markato closed a seed round led by Lightspeed. Since then, the company has assembled a founding team comprised of early employees at Deliveroo, Uber and Grab who led the launch and expansion of those marketplace startups across Asia over the past decade. We are currently operating in 4 markets and expanding our team to drive our continued growth trajectory.
Recently, Markato has expanded its service offering as a distributor to grow top-tier brands across Asia. We are currently looking for a Brand Growth and Marketing specialist who will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies for these brands.
What you will be doing
- Account Management: Oversee and nurture client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Partner Coordination: Coordinate with agencies, vendors, brands, and retailers to maximize the effectiveness of marketing and launch campaigns.
- Social Media Channel Management: Launch and manage the social media presence of distributed brands, implementing creative strategies to grow brand awareness and engagement.
- Influencer and PR: Manage end-to-end collaborations with influencers to promote our distributed brands.
- Key Channel Development: Play a key role in developing relationships and growth partnerships with major retailers across Asia by proposing and launching marketing strategies that drive strong sales performance.
- Analytics: Leverage data analytics to formulate and refine marketing campaigns, focusing on brand awareness, share of voice, brand positioning, target audiences, and overall campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within client accounts.
What we are looking for
- You have 2+ years of experience in a B2C marketing or brand management-related role.
- You possess a strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and influencer marketing.
- You have excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in both Cantonese and English.
- You demonstrate a strong work ethic and resilience, with the ability to tackle challenging, detail-oriented tasks with a positive attitude.
- You exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to executing daily tasks effectively and efficiently, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- You possess critical thinking skills and can respond swiftly to unexpected challenges, demonstrating resourcefulness in developing creative and effective solutions.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities and demands while maintaining focus on operational goals.
- You take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the operational framework.
