The Job
Distribution Strategy
Grow the HNW distribution channel to achieve value creation for the company. Lead product launch initiatives and support agents in identifying new business opportunities. Develop competitive wealth solutions and run campaigns to boost profitability, especially for HNW clients. Research industry insights and create sales kits to help agents better engage HNW customers.
Sales Enablement and Agent Engagement
Prepare practical sales materials (i.e. sales kits) based on research to help agents present effectively to HNW clients. Encourage a proactive mindset among agents to grow HNW business. Engage agency and external partners to drive new business ideas.
Sales and Training
Manage sales activities such as branch visits, coaching sessions, and training programs. Equip staff with product knowledge and sales skills to drive HNW business growth. Conduct training/sharing to agency to uplift relevant skill set.
Underwriting and Service Standards
Work with internal teams to stay updated on underwriting and compliance requirements. Ensure high service standards to support business development and client satisfaction. Work closely with Case Management Team and New Business Underwriting Team to effect new cases. Build effective workflow by regularly review the process.
Premium Financing
Guide agents on proper premium financing procedures. Collaborate with banks to offer tailored financing solutions with favorable terms, and coordinate with bank operations to ensure smooth documentation and processes. Strengthen banking platform for the readiness of alternative payment method. Streamline internal workflow with departments regarding premium financing matters.
Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES)
Expand business under the CIES program through strategic planning and efficient workflows. Partner with fund houses to provide sales support and fund education, helping agents better serve clients.
Sales Reporting & Business Tracking
Maintain good records and update case status. Formulate sales reports for business tracking on needed basis. Possess high sense of responsibility and job ownership.
Event Hosting
Organizing client engagement events to generate more HNW business opportunities for agents. These events include market update seminars, wealth management sessions tailored for HNW clients, and curated leisure activities to deepen client relationships. Support ad hoc projects assigned by team or business head and team head from time to time.
The Person
Degree holder with at least 15 years’ experience in insurance industry in which at least 5 years in HNW business
Solid exposure in HNW market and insurance products
Well understanding the mechanism and practice of Premium Financing
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manger
Passed in IIQE Paper I, III & IV and a holder of FLMI or CFP is preferable
Strong in interpersonal, presentation & negotiation skills
Persuasive and able to convey ideas
Able to handle conflicts and self-motivated in difficult situations
Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage
