DAVID C. LAM INSTITUTE FOR EAST-WEST STUDIES (LEWI)
LEWI was established in 1993 with the aim to foster interdisciplinary social sciences and humanities research and cultivate collaborative scholarship between the East and the West. LEWI is (1) a research consortium of 28 universities from North America, Europe and Asia; (2) a research centre conducting world-leading research in global studies, and (3) a research umbrella organisation with four affiliated research centres.
Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant (25260107)
LEWI is seeking self-motivated, self-directed, and service-oriented team players to provide research and administrative support to multiple interdisciplinary projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to LEWI and its affiliated research centres, such as writing reports, organising different events;
- Manage various social media channels, including infographics;
- Arrange and attend meetings with the stakeholders, such as research teams and external collaborators; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's, master’s degree or PhD in relevant discipline;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Have outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Capability to effectively communicate with academics;
- Those with or without relevant work experience are both welcome to apply; and
- Appointee may have assigned duties outside Hong Kong.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of six months to one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
