Essential ResponsibilitiesHelp establish a more robust workflow/process between Design, PM and Engineering.Conducts typical design cycle starting from UX Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Visual Design, then to user testing.Gain an expert understanding of worldwide ecommerce marketplaces.Stay informed of the latest design trends and use of new technologies.Tell the story with outstanding spoken and written communication.Collaborate with our product and development teams.Translate written requirements and concepts into user flows, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences for products.Create designs fully ready to hand-off to the development team.Recommend design solutions and UX/UI improvements for products and services.Communicate design processes, ideas, solutions, and concepts clearly and effectively to teams that are not skilled in UX discipline. Required QualificationsFluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.Master's degree in HCI, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Psychology, Engineering, or other related fields.At least 6 years of experience with UX-related responsibilities in tech industry.Experiences in major eCommerce Marketplaces in Asia (Tmall, JD, TikTok, Rakuten & Coupang), SaaS and B2B platforms is preferred.Advanced understanding of Figma. (if you’ve used Sketch, Adobe XD or any other design platform, you’ll pick it up in no time)Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate, inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
