Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Develop and maintain a competitive and reliable supply base for mechanical and tooling-related commodities.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and capability criteria.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and long-term agreements.
Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, scorecards, and corrective action plans.
Cost Analysis & Quoting
Conduct detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis to validate supplier pricing and cost changes.
Lead quoting activities for strategic tooling and mechanical components, ensuring alignment with cost targets and project timelines.
Provide leadership in cost modeling and customer cost analysis to support pricing strategies and margin improvement.
Contract Management
Negotiate and manage Master Purchasing Agreements (MPAs), tooling contracts, and other critical supplier agreements.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and proactively manage risks related to supply continuity and commercial exposure.
Process & Compliance
Ensure sourcing processes are aligned with company policies and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations) to support new product introductions and supplier development.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, supplier performance, and cost reduction.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management, preferably in mechanical parts and tooling.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and tooling.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools; SAP experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
