Full-time Teaching Assistant in the School of Chinese (Ref.: 532509) (to commence in August 2025 for five months, with the possibility of renewal subject to course demand and satisfactory performance).
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or master's degree in Chinese studies, Asian history or related discipline. Fluent English is a must. Those with a good track record or experience in teaching are preferred.
The appointee is expected to support a new Common Core course “Encounters between China and the West” which include tasks ranging from facilitating lectures and leading tutorials, preparation of course materials to the assessment of students as well as handling administrative matters relating to the course.
