Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technology projects related to private equity operations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across investment, operations, and IT teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Drive vendor management activities including selection, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and relationship management.
- Conduct business analysis to identify technology needs and translate them into project requirements and implementation plans.
- Support operational teams by providing technical and project management expertise to address challenges and optimize processes.
- Develop and refine technology strategies that support the growth and efficiency of private equity operations.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and issues; provide regular status reports and escalate when necessary to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a project manager in private equity technology or a related financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of private equity operations, workflows, and technology landscape.
- Demonstrated skills in vendor management, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and business analysis.
- Ability to develop technology strategies that align with business goals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP) are highly regarded.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
