Role Summary:
We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join one of our Macro trading teams. This is an ideal position for an early career applicant looking to join an investment team with a path to eventual alpha generation and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain robust Python-based tools for
- Curve building, asset data collecting/cleaning from various sources
- Risk modeling and development of risk management visualization tools
- Performance monitoring and PnL reconciliation
- Signal research development and backtesting infrastructure
- Visualization and other desk tools
- Build scalable data system to collect, process, maintain high-quality financial and macroeconomic data
- Collaborate and work closely with PM to:
- Conduct macroeconomic research to support investment thesis
- Develop, test and evaluate scalable signal ideas
- Monitor live trading performance and identify anomalies
- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams internally and externally
Qualifications
- 4+ years of working experience
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Interests in macroeconomic trend and global markets
- Highly motivated with positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Eager to work in a new and growing team
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Prior experience in backtesting, quantitative research, risk modeling and/or signal development is a strong plus
- Great understanding of derivatives and options, particularly interests rates and FX derivatives
- Experience in interests rate and macro analysis is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Python, and solid knowledge of SQL
