The Assistant Manager - Health, Safety & Sustainability will carry out managerial functions and initiatives in the development, adoption and operation of the corporate Health & Safety system across all ESF operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager in developing and implementing corporate policies and strategic plans for the Organisation.
- With strong technical writing skills and relevant experience, take a lead role in the writing and development of Health & Safety Management System for ESF to safeguard students, staff members and our community.
- Establish and keep track of milestones and objectives.
- Communicate with schools, support teams and stakeholders to facilitate work and cooperation.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assess risks, investigate incidents and recommend applicable actions.
- Manage ongoing corporate programmes and specific assignments.
- Provide health, safety and sustainability training to ESF Staff and contractors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Management, Communications, Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Proven track record in technical writing and in establishing corporate policies.
- Strong experience in developing Health & Safety Management System at corporate level..
- Detailed knowledge of international best practices and relevant Hong Kong legislation.
- Capacity to learn and develop additional skills as necessary.
- Fluency in written and oral English.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
