The School of Business and Management is looking for a seasoned IT professional to join the Technical Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students of Business School.
- Liaise with University’s IT Support Office (ITSO) to support the implementation of cybersecurity projects.
- Administrate Virtual Machine (VAAS) system.
- Monitor School’s Servers and perform upgrade & troubleshoot issues proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in user support, IT operations and system administration.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux Systems, Active Directory, Azure Intune and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.
- Experience in troubleshooting analogy & digital AV equipment is an advantage.
- Experience in an academic or educational institution is highly desirable.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
