Your new role
- Build a platform that offers connected and innovative surveillance solutions with ELV (AC, PAS) and video analytics for on premise or remote site monitoring. Design back-end service, user experience and new business model, participating in the whole lifecycle of this platform from project establishment to launch.
- Define and execute the product strategy/roadmap for IT solutions portfolio, with a strong emphasis on cloud, telecommunication, and networking solutions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market needs/trends/competitive
landscape, ensuring the products remain competitive and aligned with industry advancements. - Develop strategic partnership and maintain relationship with key counterparties, vendors, and technology partners.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, pre-sales, business development, engineering, and operations, to gather input and align product development efforts with business objectives, such as by KPI report, data analysis, forecasting future demands, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and goto-market strategies.
- Support in solution trainings, technical conferences, industry summits etc.
To succeed in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline is preferable.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the IT/telecommunication industry. Candidates with more experience will be considered as (Senior) Product Manager.
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, telecommunication systems and networking protocol.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise product requirements.
- Driven and ambitious individual who can drive up numbers and outcome delivery quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Good Command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
