Responsibilities
Responsible for sourcing and procurement procedures including price negotiation and orders fulfilment
Conduct market survey, price comparison and supplier site inspection
Manage tender bidding process, negotiation and finalization of contract
Handle procurement of capital expenditure process, operating supplies and work closely with user departments
Analyze market supply, trends and manage all key vendors professionally and effectively
Evaluate and monitor vendors’ performance and recommend new vendors if needed
Ensure the qualities of products and services purchased are up to standards and specifications
Ensure operating procedures and workflows are in compliance with Company's standards and requirements as well as local regulations
Administer duties including delivery schedule monitoring, accounting and sustainability reports preparation
Prepare cost analysis for management review regularly
Supervise the purchasing team and arrange department roster
Handle any ad hoc tasks assigned by Department Head
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Purchasing / Supply Chain or related business discipline
At least 6 years of purchasing administration experience in Hotel / F&B chain store
Experience in Aspen purchasing system is an advantage
Knowledge in procurement requirement & standard, food quality and nutrition is an advantage
Familiar with ISO22000 / HACCP standards
Familiar with the food regulatory standards of different countries
Good decision making ability and tenacity to source items at best possible price and quality at right time
Well organized with good time management
Good problem solving, communication, leading and negotiation skills
Responsible and Initiative
Able to handle high pressure situations and work independently
Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Purchasing Supervisor*
