(Asso/VP) Sales Trader

Description

VP/Associate Electronic Sales trading position, responsible for day-to-day low-touch Coverage of APAC order flow for global institutional clients.
Focus on opening up and driving growth with unbundled clients.
Collaboration across Product/IT/Compliance and other teams to drive development of the platform and the Electronic offering as a whole.

Responsibilities:

As an active member of the Coverage team, the candidate will have a business owner mindset to drive the growth of institutional client revenues.

Maximize client engagement through active Coverage and collaboration with internal teams & senior management across all regions.
Active Coverage of client order flow as a value-add service:
Fundamental understanding of client objectives, market structure, liquidity profiles.
Monitor client and algo behavior to adhere to market regulations and firm procedures.
Content generation and distribution:
Collaborate with EE Product team & Market Structure teams to maximise use of thematic content.
Product/Platform:
Be a major contributor to the development of strategic tools, algo enhancements, and content to improve the all aspects of the business.

Qualified candidates will have:

3-7 years in Electronic Equities Coverage across APAC markets.
Track record of covering institutional clients, an understanding of Algo Wheels preferred.
Bilingual (Fluent in English & Mandarin)
Ability to work closely with Product and Quant teams to be a key contributor to platform development and execution consulting.
