To support our continued growth and commitment to service excellence, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Service Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Service Director, you will be a key member of a team of 10–12 service engineers.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the delivery of our maintenance services, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and uphold the company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate service quality delivered to customers
Ensure maintenance services meet contractual and regulatory standards
Organize and conduct regular technical training and assessments for service engineers
Investigate and resolve outstanding repair work orders
Provide emergency inspections and assessments for incident cases
Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring timely execution and reporting
Prepare and present regular service performance reports to clients
Recommend improvements to enhance service operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Medical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
Minimum 6 years of technical/engineering experience, with at least 2 years in medical equipment, devices, or machinery
Hands-on experience in medical equipment repair is highly preferred
Strong technical knowledge with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and drive service improvements
Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with OH&S and infection control policies
