Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Investment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical support function for the CEO, providing essential assistance in the execution of global investment and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and M&A processes, coupled with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Responsibilities:
Investment & M&A Support:
Assist the CEO in all aspects of global investment and M&A projects, from initial screening and due diligence to deal closing and post-merger integration.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research to support investment decisions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, industry reports, and other relevant data.
Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Assist in the negotiation of deal terms and conditions.
Assist in the identification and mitigation of investment risks.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and disclosures.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investment managers, legal counsel, financial advisors, and other service providers.
Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in investment-related roles, with a focus on M&A, corporate finance, or private equity.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and M&A processes.
Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with stakeholders in Hong Kong and globally.
(Preferred) Experience working with a publicly listed company, particularly in Hong Kong.
(Preferred) Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
