Purpose of the Role:
The ecommerce product manager is responsible to lead the strategy, development and optimisation of the end-to-end eCommerce payment experience across GP digital commerce platforms. This role ensures that customers can seamlessly, securely and confidently complete purchases using their preferred payment methods while the business benefits from increased conversion, reduced payment friction, cost effective processing and global scalability. Working as the intersection between sales, technology, finance and compliance, the product manager owns the roadmap for capabilities including checkout, integrations, fraud prevention and post transaction flows such as refunds and chargebacks.
Responsibilities:
Product domain: eCommerce (card-not-present) payments
Product development to determine what products and features to build and enable based on feedback from internal and external customers.
Understand the competitive landscape of payments and payment-related industries using data and insights to drive the solution and deliver effective feature sets within APAC.
Partners with the International Product organisation to understand key global developments of product to bring best in class solutions to market and export best in class solutions to the world.
Product strategy and thought leadership
Product development to determine what products and features to build and enable based on feedback from internal and external customers.
Understand the competitive landscape of payments and payment-related industries using data and insights to drive the solution and deliver effective feature sets within APAC.
Partners with the International Product organisation to understand key global developments of product to bring best in class solutions to market and export best in class solutions to the world.
Product discipline and ways of working
Lead feature/design workshops to drive alignment and creativity in solution design.
Own go-to-market approach for your product, effectively communicating upcoming releases internally and externally.
Lead change management processes for eCommerce domain, engaging with teams early to ensure understanding, buy-in and optimal operational process are put in place to support any launches of product updates/changes.
Target state architecture
Deliver on target-state process maps for domain with an initial focus to deliver Target Architecture Model (TAM) based on guidance from APAC eCommerce lead.
Take ownership of the full end-to-end. Work with teams and stakeholders to solve product related problems, and own decisions to ensure the right outcome is delivered.
Drive commercial outcomes
Lead the domain with a client first approach and a commercial mindset.
Work with domain lead to report on product performance to the APAC senior leadership team and country managers to help inform decisions on product roadmap and lifecycle.
Work with finance, marketing, and sales to deliver competitive pricing strategies and creation of sales / customer assets.

Experience and Expertise
6+ years' experience as a Product Manager covering the full breadth of product design, development and life cycle management in a hardware or software solutions based organisation, ideally within payments, Banking, FinTech or eCommerce.
Passionate about delivering great customer experiences and bringing products to life that scale, representing the voice of the customer.
Growth mindset to continually refine and improve experiences.
You are a collaborative operator who can bring together diverse perspectives from across the business and prioritise product solutions to deliver the greatest value.
Demonstrated values of Passion, Care, Accountability, Excellence and Ingenuity to collaborate with team and deliver outcomes in a global matrix organsiation.
Preferred
Demonstrated delivery of product within the APAC region and an understanding of payments product requirements across the region.
Knowledge and/or experience working in an agile environment.
Being adept in project management including experience using various project management techniques would be advantageous.
