Kennedy School is inviting applications for an Educational Assistant, Chinese on a temporary basis. The position will be full-time from 15 Oct to 25 Nov 2025.
Responsibilities
- To collaborate with teachers to plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet students’ individual learning needs
- To support children in the learning of Chinese in the classroom alongside a Chinese Class teacher
- To use a range of appropriate strategies for teaching and learning and classroom management
- To work with children who require additional support
- To assist the teachers in some administrative or preparatory tasks
- To supervise the children during play and lunchtime
- To make an active contribution to the policies and aspirations of the school
Requirements
- A good command of written and spoken Chinese and a reasonable command of English
- Sound behaviour management skills
- Enjoys working in a team
- Flexible and uses initiative
- Previous experience of working with children is an advantage
The successful applicant will be offered a temporary full-time contract on a term-time basis.
Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
