The successful candidate will join our Product-A&H, Underwriting Team in the Hong Kong office. We will provide on-the-job training and opportunity for growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- To underwrite group medical, group life, personal accidents & travel renewal case, complying with company’s business targets, underwriting guidelines within delegated authority, and liaise with our reinsurers.
- To assist the senior underwriting manager to manage profitable business growth of A&H by monitoring the premium growth, expense, loss trend and the retention ratio.
- To discuss periodically with senior underwriting manager to review business results and identify opportunities for action.
- To handle and assist in UW administrative work, support, and coordinate with Distribution, liaise and coordinate with Ops and Claims teams.
- To assist in developing, improving and maintaining the group medical / life pricing tools under the guidance of senior underwriting manager and work with actuarial team to consistently deliver accurate pricing guidance to enable profitable business growth.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or above preferred, non-degree holders with relevant experience will be considered
- Over 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in insurance industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with intermediates, internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communications and organization skills
- Possession of outstanding work ethic and drive for knowledge
