Financial Controller - FICC business

Key Responsibilities - Perform month-end activities, including journal postings, account reconciliations, balance sheet substantiation and analysis and month-end cut off control check - Decompose the balance sheet for the business and review the month-end balance sheet reporting by internal deadlines - Identify significant P&L related risk-based drivers, e.g., market changes, new and amended deals, reserves etc., for products, such as bonds, FX/IRS, TRS and other FICC derivatives - Participate in ECL assessment for FICC bond portfolios and discuss with external auditors for any difference - Streamline the future FRR reporting process under SFC type 11 OTCD regime and collaborate with other controller teams (such as Equities & WM) - Participate in the development of credit risk based FRR methodology internally across different business units under SFC type 11 license - Perform internal systems/UAT testing (FAAS) as well as management accounting database - Involve in the completion of new product review and prepare weekly/monthly regulatory reports

Key Requirements - University graduate in Accounting/Finance with 3-5 years relevant experiences - Proficient knowledge of financial and accounting concepts as well as risk-based approaches under Basel framework - Control focused, analytical, team oriented and attention to detail - Self-driven with proven relationship management experiences - Strong communication skills in both verbal and written - Strong excel skills with abilities to build and use spreadsheets - CPA or CFA is preferred but not required Disclaimer The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of the work performed by employees within this classification.
