Full Time Laboratory Technician/Lab Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Full Time Laboratory Technician/Lab Assistant to join our team at Zentrogene Bioscience Laboratory Limited in Kwun Tong District. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a variety of routine and specialised laboratory tests and analyses to support our research and development activities
• Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment for laboratory procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment according to standard protocols
• Record and document experimental data and observations accurately
• Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the laboratory workspace and inventory
• Provide support to the research team and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the laboratory
• Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Relevant diploma or degree in a scientific or laboratory-related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a laboratory technician or assistant in a similar environment
• Strong practical skills and proficiency in conducting a variety of laboratory tests and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with researchers and other laboratory personnel
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment
