Among its global markets, the North Asia & SEAA (Southeast Asia & Australia) (“ASIA”) regions stand out as a beacon of success. Now, it stands on the brink of an exciting transformation, and a significant period of change and innovation. As the ASIA Regions enter a pivotal phase of transformation, Chanel is embarking on a landmark initiative: the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) ERP across nine markets under the HERO Programme.
As the HERO Data & Reporting Lead, you will play a critical senior role in shaping and delivering the data and reporting strategy for this globally transformative program. You will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Data and Reporting Workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical delivery. This includes:
- Leading the data migration activities and driving data cleansing efforts
- Defining and gathering business reporting requirements
- Overseeing the design and delivery of reporting solutions for D365
This role requires a strong foundation in ERP implementation, ideally knowledge of D365 F&O and data migration experience, and proven project management capabilities. You will lead a team of consultants and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of the workstreams.

Project Management:
- Drive and manage the Workstream as the PM – develop and manage the workstream project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitor progress and proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Coordinate with other workstream leads to ensure activities align and are executed under the ERP programme umbrella
Data Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the Global (HQ) HERO Data Team to follow and execute the data strategy for ASIA
- Drive workshops and sessions to understand & elicit business requirements from Process Leads, SMEs, and Data Owners to then solution requirements with TECH workstream
Data Migration & Quality:
- Lead the data migration stream & processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities in coordination with TECH
- Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the migration process and work with Data Owners to cleanse in-scope data
- Implement validation and reconciliation procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness of migration
- Monitor and report on migration progress and report & resolve issues promptly in collaboration with TECH & Data Owners
Reporting Solution & Build:
- Drive the requirements collection for operational & analytical (D365 operational & Power BI) reporting needs from business users
- Oversee the TECH workstream in designing, building, and testing reports that meet business needs
- Support SIT and UAT phases to ensure reporting solutions are robust and user-validated
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all data and reporting matters
- Drive & facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors
- Provide regular updates to leadership and cross-functional teams on workstream progress and key milestones
What you can bring to the team
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline
- Microsoft D365 Certifications are a plus
Work Experience
- 7+ years in managing system data migration and/or as a Business Analyst including project management experience w/ a proven track record of successful delivery of one or more of the following:
- Complex transformation projects
- Delivery of projects for multiple Asia markets
- Proven experience in data management, data migration, report customization, and/or ERP implementation projects
- Extended experience project management and being very hands-on in project delivery
- Experience in leading a team or workstream
- Demonstrate experience to think strategically, tactically, and operationally
Functional / Technological Expertise
- Preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations)
- Other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Required Competencies
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills with demonstrated capability of leading a period of significant change
- Ability to analyze and consolidate different ideas & opinions
- Working with Global and remote teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Proven track record of managing and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong presentation & communication skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a must
