About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our audit team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply data analytics in a business and professional services environment, supporting audit engagements and contributing to the development of business intelligence (BI) dashboards for internal audit risk assessment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data analytics to support audit procedures.
- Assist in the design and implementation of BI dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
- Collaborate with audit teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Clean, transform, and analyse large datasets from various sources.
- Document processes and provide technical support for analytics solutions.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
