Major Responsibilities
- AI Strategy and Governance:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy in alignment with the company vision, embedding governance, risk management, and compliance checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish and enforce AI governance policies and ethical guidelines to ensure responsible and compliant use of AI
- Identify high-impact AI use cases aligned with business objectives (e.g., automating processes, optimizing logistics)
- Prioritize projects based on ROI, feasibility, and data readiness
- Manage risks related to ethics, bias and data security

Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a team of AI specialists; cultivate a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and ethical AI practice

Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Liaise with stakeholders in IT, Operations, and Legal to identify AI opportunities, secure resources, and integrate solutions seamlessly into business processes

Project Delivery and Performance Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets
- Define KPIs and report progress to the Chiefs of Technology Innovation and senior management

Technology and Trend Monitoring:
- Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and methodologies; assess their applicability and ROI, and guide the team in pilot programs and proof-of-concepts

Communication and Evangelism:
- Articulate complex technical concepts, project status, and AI-driven value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering organizational buy-in and AI literacy
- Perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned
Requirements
- University degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading technology or data-driven teams, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing AI/ML projects
- Demonstrated success in digital transformation or AI deployment, with strong governance and compliance acumen
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies
- Excellent strategic thinker with proven ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps
- Excellent project management and communication skills, adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of KPIs, cost-benefit analysis, and change management
- Pragmatic (starts small, scales fast), adaptable, and ethically conscious
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
