About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Manager - Marketing, Communications and Fundraising is a key executive team member of our organisation. He/she will be responsible for:
A. Marketing and Communications
Develop and manage online and offline marketing and communications campaigns, and evaluate the effectiveness of various activities.
Plan, create, and oversee the design and content development of marketing materials for social media, websites, newsletters, press releases, events, and any other distribution channels.
Manage the organisation’s events and campaigns, including Pathways’ 25th Anniversary Symposium and other celebration events.
Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage, and support the roll-out of regular, informative and effective communications with donors, stakeholders, the media, volunteers, peer organisations, government departments, and the community.
Act as secretary to the Marketing, Communications & Fundraising Committee of the Foundation.
B. Fundraising
Devise, drive and organise fundraising campaigns and events.
Assist to develop strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets.
Collaborate with other organisations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities.
Research, identify, liaise and build relationships with potential donors, and to develop plans to maximise opportunities.
Manage information and record the profile of donors and fundraising activities.
Evaluate and report the effectiveness of fundraising projects on a regular basis.
We are looking for:
The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on online and offline promotions planning and execution, content development, social media, and community engagement.
Strong understanding of digital marketing (incl. social media management, content marketing).
Experience in working with content creaters, designers, and production companies to develop high-quality, multimedia marketing materials.
Experience in event planning and community-building initiatives is an advantage.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to measure and optimise campaign performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with teams across different functions.
Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese is necessary.
Passion for supporting students with specific learning needs and an understanding of the education market in Hong Kong is a plus.
