Entry Requirements:
(a)(i) Level 2 or equivalent [See Note (2)] or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; OR;
(a)(ii) Level 2 [See Note (3)] / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(b) At least 2 years’ full-time post-qualification working experience;
(c) Able to read and write Chinese and English; speak fluent Cantonese, English and Putonghua; and
(d) Applicants with ushering or relevant experience, or able to work during daytime of weekdays may have an advantage.

Note:

Duties:
To perform ticket inspection, house programmes and pamphlet distribution, ushering, crowd control and other duties in designated venue(s) under the LCSD. Details to be arranged by venue management. Appointees are required to perform duties under stage sounds and lighting effect (usually in dim light), climb stepped aisles, communicate with patrons, guide and direct patrons to their seats and assist in enforcing venue’s house regulations before and during performance.
Note :
(1) Works in irregular hours from Mondays to Sundays including public holidays (Applicants who are able to work during daytime of weekdays may have an advantage);
(2) The working hours depend on the programmes. May need to work till midnight. A minimum of 3 hours per session on an on-call basis;
(3) Wearing uniforms is a must.
Successful candidates will be assigned to work in the Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre, North District Town Hall. The Department will consider the successful candidates’ areas of residence and the location of full-time jobs (if any), as well as their preferences when assigning their work location.
