Part-time Pilates Instructor
Responsibilities:
Design and lead individual, partner and small group Pilates training sessions (Reformer & Studio Equipment and/or full-body mat) and ensure clients of varying fitness levels enjoy a positive and meaningful experience on every visit.
Provide motivating, engaging and supportive instructions and quality service to existing and potential customers and train within standard guidelines of specialty certifications.
Maintain client assessment and programme information for follow up and review as necessary.
Develop and identify new sales and Pilates training opportunities.
Conduct complimentary appointments, including assessments and programme implementation, and seek medical approval for participation in exercise if required.
Maintain safe, tidy gym environment at all times.
Requirements:
Experience in either commercial fitness, PT / Pilates studio or high-end clubhouses is a must.
Experience / training in the areas of Clinical Pilates, Pre-hab and Rehabilitation is an advantage.
Holder of Pilates Reformer / Studio certificates by recognized institution or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 1 year of Pilates teaching experience.
Must be able to teach in English. Additional languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin are a plus.
CPR / First Aid Certificate holder is an advantage.
Passion for health and fitness with exceptional inter-personal skills.
Self-motivated, confident and outgoing personality.
Possess good communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours – early mornings, during the day, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
