Primary Chinese Teaching Assistant (Starting from August 2025)
Korean International School (KIS) is a private, independent school with an enrollment of over 800 students representing more than 30 nationalities. We offer a British-style academic education designed for the English-speaking community in Hong Kong.
We are seeking to appoint a Primary Chinese Teaching Assistant who is a committed individual of high caliber to join our Primary team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering the highest quality of learning in a stimulating, happy, and safe environment.
KIS has commenced our annual recruitment cycle for the 2025-26 academic year and invites qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate teachers to register their interest in our school.
Role & Responsibilities:
1.Collaborate with fellow teachers for teaching preparation and instructions
2.Support students with special needs in learning Chinese
3.Conducted small-group instruction to enhance individualized learning and provide timely updates to teachers
4.Participate in school duties and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous
- Experience in working with children or relevant educational certificate/diploma/ degree required
- Bachelor degree holder or related disciplines is preferred
- Full working rights for Hong Kong
Our Teaching Assistant must also have the following skills/qualifications:
- Fluent Mandarin speaker
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Warm personality, with a love for children
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
