About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pickleball Coach to join our team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and promoting pickleball to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. This role involves conducting individual and group lessons, organizing clinics, and fostering a fun and inclusive pickleball community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging pickleball training sessions for individuals and groups.
- Teach proper techniques, rules, and strategies to players of varying skill levels.
- Organize and lead pickleball clinics, workshops, and social play events.
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their game.
- Assist in promoting pickleball programs to attract new players.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Maintain equipment and court setup as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pickleball coach or instructor (certification preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and coaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage players of all ages and skill levels.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Fluent in English (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized pickleball or sports coaching organization.
- Experience in organizing tournaments or leagues.
- Background in other racquet sports (tennis, badminton, table tennis).
