Overview

The Regional Director Buyside HKNA (Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan , and China) will manage a t specialist team for our on-platform portfolio solutions including Risk, Performance , Reporting , Quant, and Research .

The manager will lead the team and partner with sales and support to grow our overall business in the region , selling to buyside clients such as Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Insurance, and Hedge Funds .

The Regional Director s goal will be to maximize net revenue g rowth t hrough new clients, retention, and growth of accounts. The RD will manage team resources, develop key client relationships, balance short-term goals with long-term opportunities, and increas e FactSet’s visibility and branding.

In addition to managing their team and supporting the sales process, he or she will work closely with peers across the region in sales, consulting, product development, and other buyside business units .

Role/Department Description :

The primary responsibility is to manage the HKNA & China buyside specialist team to achieve our regional sales plan through client growth, retention, and new business.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for expanding the team expertise through further development , hiring when appropriate , and upskilling to ensure we have subject matter expertise (SME) across our on-platform buyside solutions

  • Manage and allocate team resources to achieve growth objectives .

  • Articulate a clear strategic vision for sales growth that is anchored in the appropriate product mix for a given firm type; Drive growth across recently released products and workflows

  • Establish relationships with C-level and key contacts at clients through regular meetings and presentations, as well as participation in RFPs and industry events.

  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to create, simplify and quantify key initiatives and activities that will materially drive revenue growth in HKNA , based on a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape

  • S hare specific feedback to drive priorities on product development and critical enhancements required by the region

  • Contribute to management and morale of the office, drive the recruitment and hiring process of junior team members, liaise with all FDS departments to ensure a well-functioning local operation

  • Be knowledgeable about our solutions, our client s , our industry, and the market

  • Firm-type and market-specific lead gen and prospecting initiatives, collaborate with Marketing and local event providers

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10 + years of experience require d

  • Deep knowledge of Portfolio Analytic solutions required

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience

  • Ability to build relationships with FactSet executives and CXOs of clients and prospects

  • Strong communication , presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations

  • Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demands

  • Entrepreneurial & strong sense of initiative

  • Strong focus on capturing industry trends and competitor landscape
