Entry Requirements:
Candidates should have : (a) (i) Level 3 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; or (ii) Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 (Note 3) / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and be able to communicate in Chinese and English;
(c) have one year full-time working experience; and
(d) be familiar with computer operations such as MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing.

Note:
(1) "Attained with Distinction" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(3) "Grade C" and "Grade E" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 3" and "Level 2" respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.

Duties:
Mainly deployed in performing operational ground work in the various sections of the Companies Registry including processing documents and cases under the Companies Ordinance, participating in information technology development projects, answering public enquiries, conducting compliance inspections and assisting in supervising clerical and supporting staff etc.
Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 1 year. The contract may be renewed subject to operational need and performance.
Fringe Benefits
(a) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with satisfactory performance and conduct. The amount will be the sum which, when added to Government's contribution to the Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme as required by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), equals to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. (b) 14 days annual leave, rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the Employment Ordinance.
